Upgrade Before July 1st, 2023 or Your Website Will Stop Collecting Data
I can't believe it was already a year ago that we posted about the need to Upgrade to Google Analytics 4 before July 1st, 2023.
After the 1st of July, all data that is being tracked with the traditional Universal Analytics method will cease to function. Any websites that are not upgraded by that date will stop recording visitor data.
You can still export data from your old Universal Analytics accounts, to keep it handy for the future, but in order to collect new data, you will have to make the switch to Google Analytics 4. The final date is quickly approaching, and if you still have not yet got around to making the switch from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4, now is the time to do so!
For any of our members that are using the Co-op Web Builder platform, we have put together some handy cheat sheet instructions, which you can download in the attachments section below. This PDF is taken from a couple slides from the Connect Workshop, which we hosted in May, and it still applies to the process today.
We hope it is helpful getting you across the finish line towards a successful upgrade. If you need any help at all, please don't hesitate to contact us for hands-on personal assistance. We can host a session and assist with the upgrade, if you hit any bumps along the road, just send us a support request any time you like.
Our hopes are that everyone is well informed, and ready for the switch next month.
